About 80% of my time goes to email design. Michaels sends roughly 12 promotional emails a day, so there’s never a shortage of work for my team and me. Retail keeps you on your toes—prices shift, promotions change, timelines tighten. Some weeks, email is simply about being fast, accurate, and dependable. Other weeks, it’s a playground. There’s something satisfying about taking a familiar brand space and finding a fresh way to make it connect.
